The indicators are there, despite what we’re fed on a daily basis from the news and naysayers, life is be getting back to a more normal routine. We are optimistic and know that even though there might be some rough roads ahead the best is yet to come.

I don’t know about you but 2020 has been a really good year for Hubsuite.  We’ve had record breaking growth despite COVID-19.  I know others haven’t been as fortunate but I bring this up because we feel like there is still real opportunity this year for small business owners. Some of our clients, had a rough couple months others didn’t but one thing is for sure, all of them are having strong June, July and August.  We believe that there will be even more opportunity for the rest of the year.  Outlined below are some stats about COVID and other indicators that tell us that the last half of the year should be a good one.

I know this is simplistic but I want to point out that although new cases have spiked the death rate has dropped dramatically.  Recovery rates are growing everyday and now the recovery rate is well over 80%.  Active cases in the United States and the World have begun to stabilize.

This is probably due in part because;

  1. People are masking up and practicing social distancing
  2. Doctors have got a much better handle on treating this virus.

As many of you would agree, COVID-19 has been a horrible tragedy and its effect are still being felt across the nation and world.  Reality is that at some point we have to get back to work within what our new normal may be.

I am very encouraged by the lowering death rate stats, it tells me that in the near future we’ll be able to contain the spread and nearly eliminate the death risk.  I’m also encouraged by people's drive and desire to want to return to normal.  As many of you have seen people are tired of being quarantined, they want to be out, progressing and furthering their lives.

At Hubsuite, most of the hard working people we work with on a daily basis have seen a strong increase in sales in the last 2 months.  Only a handful experienced a decline in sales during COVID.  Recently there has been an uptick in new COVID cases and it has had a slight negative impact on some of our clients. However, in almost all of them they’ve already seen an increase in early sales indicators like lead count and estimate counts.  

In just the marketing side of our business we’ve seen a 7000% increase in clicks on ads and a 4748% increase in website users quarter 2 to quarter 3 per day.  This is a great indicator that customers' confidence is increasing dramatically.  We understand that these numbers mean nothing if they don’t turn into paying jobs.  The majority of our clients have seen anywhere from a flat sales performance to being 10% and even 20% better then they were in 2019.  

I could brag and say that we’ve seen such great increases with our clients because we’re a great marketing and consulting company.  Although that may have a part in it we believe that people are feeling better and more confident.  If you think about it, the unemployment rate dropped to nearly 15% at the height of the pandemic.  Yes that’s horrible, but the real number is that 85% stayed employed.  Now we’re up to +90% employment rate and getting better.  

The indicators are there, despite what we’re fed on a daily basis from the news and naysayers, life is be getting back to a more normal routine.   We are optimistic and know that even though there might be some rough roads ahead the best is yet to come.  Our prediction for 2020 is one of opportunity.  We’re encouraging our clients to ramp up and prepare for a stronger than expected 3rd and 4th quarter.
